Packrafting on the Reisa River

Packrafting is a simple way to experience the uniqueness of Reisa National Park at your own pace. We will simply explain to you how to control the boat, and then you can drift down the river and enjoy the views. Together, we will choose a route that will match your abilities.

Along the way, you can stop and go for a walk at many places while exploring the national park in areas that are difficult to reach without crossing the river.

We rent packrafts available for one or two people, and we can deliver both you and the packrafts to the desired location along the river. Then you can paddle and fish your way down the river.

If, for example, you are coming on foot from Kautokeino or via the Nordkalot route, it is perfect to have a packraft with associated equipment ready in Nausti. Then you can paddle down the rest of the river.

Guided tour

If you don’t have experience with packrafting and driving on the river but would like to try it, do not hesitate to contact us and ask about the possibility of being accompanied by our guide. You can also combine a packraft ride with a hiking trip near the river.

PRICE: on request

We recommend some prior knowledge of packrafting. In addition, we go through the necessary safety instructions before renting a packraft. We provide tips and recommendations on which rapids you should avoid and where you should disembark to hire or carry a packraft. If there is high water (maximum 3 meters), we do not rent out packrafts. This is for safety reasons, as we know that the dangers of paddling on your own in the Reisaelva can be underestimated. We don’t want that.

All use after renting a packraft is at your own risk.

Oars and a life jacket are included in the price.
