SNOWSHOE TRIPS
Snowshoeing in REISA
Snowshoeing is a fantastic way to experience the beautiful Reisadalen, whether in the forest or in the mountains. The advantage of snowshoes is that you don’t need any special skills to use them. You attach them to your winter shoes, and then you just have to set off. This way, you can explore otherwise inaccessible winter Nature full of fresh, deep powder snow.

At Ovi Raishiin, we will make use of the panoramic cabin “falcon nest”. We light fires in the camp and enjoy ourselves in front of the fireplace, with a striking panoramic view overlooking the mighty Reisa Valley. Here we will serve hot drinks, local snacks, and (if desired) lunch.
PRICE: 1700 NOK – adult / 850 NOK child
other Snowshoeing activities
Join us for an evening trip on snowshoes, away from light pollution and noise, with the goal of experiencing the magical Northern Lights. It can be either close to the lodge or close to the town of Storslett.
Not many new activities are so easy for beginners, and at the same time, so exciting and adventurous as a snowshoeing trip. We walk in the dark and snowy forests, through a fantastic landscape on the way to one of the view points especially good for observing the Northern Lights. We make a bonfire while enjoying warm beverages and local snacks.
PRICE: 1700 NOK – adult / 850 NOK child
If you want to experience some of the wildest special places in our Reisa or Lyngen regions, we can organize longer arctic trips according to your wishes and previous experiences. We can even use our snowmobiles to drive higher into the mountain plateaus of Finnmarksvidda and climb some of the summits, where you will feel like you are in Antarctica.
PRICE: On request

In cases of hazardous weather, the tour will be canceled with a full refund.
